Nathan only said that because he saw a message posted by Gudat
saying he was leaving. According to Gudat's message, which I quote
here:
"I am leaving for-ever...."
"See you tomorrow."

I suspect that Gudat was only joking around, and making fun of the way
that Dr. Tom said he would be gone forever, and came back one week
later.
