35 tracks/disk x 16 sectors/track x 256 bytes/sector = 143360 bytes
= 143 kB (k=1000)(rounded)
= 140 KB (K=1024)
If you had a 3rd party disk that could do 40 tracks then you got:
40 tracks/disk x 16 sectors/track x 256 bytes/sector = 163840 bytes
= 164 kB (k=1000)(rounded)
= 160 KB (K=1024)
