Re: Otherwise stupid thread (was: "Off-topic correction")
In article <4s2a19$135@blackice.winternet.com>, irsman@winternet.com (Ian Schmidt) says:

Good comment :) Like I said, I do this sometimes (well, I did.)

Well, I wouldn't say Dude means that. These are just CRT's - nobody
really gets hurt, feelings or no. Except when someone gets _really_
personal (and Nathan has been guilty of that, I have read this newsgroup)
then there's no harm done.
Some of us ain't Christian. But thou shalt not judge applies - to everyone.

Is it possible A. Goertz has some reason for this. Like maybe he's
foreign, and learning English. Or just likes to write like that. I can
understand his postings. At least they fit on my screen :)

They feel like that, sometimes. Tact, my dear boy, is the key.
A sense of humour helps (no doubt if we want humour, we should go to
alt.comedy.apple2?). Don't you guys at winternet laugh in the pub when
discussing anything besides comedy. Don't you say funny things which
may not be relevant, but are perhaps _human_?
