Lots of icons and random Infinite Icon List

I had _exactly_ the same problem some time ago. The scource of
all your troubles is a corrupt "Desktop" file(s). Delete all
present Desktop files, and try again! For me, this seems to be a
bug in System 6.0.1. Nathan, any comments on this one? :)
 
Btw, I wouldn't use ICE at all (unless you absolutely have to).
It is the worst icon editor that was ever released for the GS -
problem is it is the only one properly supporting rIcon files. Oh
well...
