The //gs's I've seen before looked like MACS. Just last week I was roaming
a used computer store here in Colo. Spgs. They had a machine on the shelf
that looked just like my //e except it clearly had //gs where the //e is.

I thought it an ugly beast compared to the modern //gs. Perhaps you've
shed some light on it.
