Dip switch setting on Z-80 Card and Grappler+ Printer card

Does any one know what the dip switches on the above mentioned 
card are used for?

The printer card is a Grappler+ Printer interface made by 
Orange Micro Inc,  On it there is a bank of 4 dip switches.

The Z-80 card has no manufacturer marked on it but has the 
model EK Z-80 CARD on it.  This card also has 1 bank of 4 dip 
switches.

If anyone has any information on these cards you'd be helping a 
poor ignorant IBM user.
