Source in C for most of the basic decompression formats are available
several places on the net.  And the format of the ShrinkIt archive is
also available somewhere.  What's not available, that I know of, is
the source in assembler.  But, we have had a couple of other A2 programmers
create tools to un-Shk files.  One of utilities is Angel, which will also
unzip and some other formats.  It is supposed to be faster than ShrikIt, 
and it does unzip quickly.  I don't recal who wrote it.  It would be
nice if it had a GS desktop interface, and if it would allow you to 
do more than one archive for each launch.  It also will break on zip files
that have more than 100 files in them.

If we could just get one that would merge posts together, stripping
headers, uudecode including mime, then unshrink or do a tar or gif convert
to a 3200 format, then untar.  And as long as I'm dreaming, how about
doing the full conversion on exit (or on call) from the online software,
automatically directing the output based on what it is?  Or perhaps auto
start the process at 3 AM so it's done when I get up?  And make the 
coffee... :)
