It would seem to me that one important additional feature available on AW5
(& maybe 4) is the database formula. With this, you can now ask whether
there are any duplicate records in the file. Suppose you have a
membership or customer name & address list. Before, for example, you
could find out whether you had more than one record for any first and last
name combination, but you had to specify which first & last names. Now
you can ask the more general question about whether any 2 records in the
file have the same first & last names. This capability does not qualify
AW5 DB as a relational data base, but it is a minimal requirement for any
database system.
