P8 Crashing into the monitor

I need some help trying to find out why my 8bit comm programs are 
crashing into the monitor. This is happening about twice a day lately.

Just before it crashes to the * curser I get a constant 'n oetpes' in the
top left hand corner. I have done all the usual stuff..boot shifting,
memory checking with AWGS cl tester, reducing memory and have run out of
ideas..oh and have replaced the P8 file and Prodos and Basic.system, I
have a fresh 6.0.1 and have optimised my boot partion on my 40 meg HD,
replaced the prefs file..but every now and then my system crashes in my
server or going back to the finder from Ansiterm or PT3.1. I am on a rom 3
GS with a AHSC and Transwarp running the old AE specialty chips for
9mhz/8k cashe and is quite stable except for the noted problem..any other
ideas would be appreciated and can be sent e-mail or better yet posted
here for others who may have or will have this problem in the future.
