Global Village Teleport/Bronze (Help Needed Please)

I bought a used Global Village Teleport/Bronze for the Macintosh Performa
Model A861.
All I got was the modem itself, no docs or software.
I'd like to use it on either my Apple IIgs, Mac IIx, or Mac IIcx.
So far I have tried it on my Apple IIgs and it seems to work fine up
to 2400 baud using the setup for a Hayes SmartModem 2400.
 
Is that the max baud rate possible with this modem?
Is it also a FAX?
Where can I get the software for this?
 
I'd like to get the specs on this and learn all about its features.
