Q: Apple 5.25 vs UniDisk 5.25 ???

Someone is offering me 3 apple floppy drives (model A9M1007).
I haven't seen them yet & supposed they were UniDisk 5.25's
But I checked one of my UniDisks & its model# is A9M0104.

Can anyone provide functional / physical comparisons? Will
they (the 1007's) work on a IIgs? IIc? use the same controller
as the UniDisk or DuoDisk uses?

BTW, is there a web or ftp reference of apple hardware model
numbers & corresponding product names / descriptions?

I've got a few things & would be willing to start the list.
