Assuming this is the Disk II drive, here's what's different off the
top of my head. Physical differences: probably a bit larger, less
stylish case. Functional: 5.25" access should be identical for 35
track disks (extra tracks used by customized OSs might be unstable),
no daisychaining ability. Probably the most significant difference is
that the cable is slightly different. However, my Apple II Resources

Not that I know of offhand for Apple IIs (www.apple.com has Mac
models dating back to roughly 1992-93), but I'd be more than happy to
