FYI, the correct name of the narrator of "Triumph of the Nerds" is Robert 
X Cringely. It was based upon his book "Accidental Empires." Cringely 
wrote the long running "gossip column" for InfoWorld.

That said, it was meant to be irreverant and satiric...just like his 
column and his book.
