Yes... I have a stack of IIe's that came from a school - some are enhanced, some not... all of them have the black lettered keys. Of course I'm assuming all the keyboards are original.

I'm glad you brought that up...

It is quite likely that many //e's in "circulation" have had boards
swapped, keyboards swapped, etc.

It is not at all improbable that a //e today is a "mosaic" of several
generations of //e parts.
