Re: IIGS ROMs

As promised, here are some 'diffs' which will generate ROM03s from ROM01s. I
generated the 'diffs' by taking a double-copy of the ROM01s (128k of ROM01
appended to the same 128k of ROM01) and exclusive-oring them with the ROM03s
(256k). If you have genuine ROM01s, you should have no problem generating
ROM03s from them using these 'diffs' (however, the ROM03s were sent to me by
someone else, and I am unable to verify their authenticity -- all I can say is
that the xgs emulator worked fine with them).

You need the following files:

rom01 - an image of genuine Apple IIgs ROM01s (128k, not included)
eor - the file used to generate the ROM03s (256k, included)
update.c - a (UNIX) C program which will generate the ROM03s (included)

Compile update.c and run it with rom01 and eor in the working directory. The
file rom03 will be created, containing the ROM03s for the IIgs (256k).

begin 600 update.zip
