Re: Can I read low density Apple disks on a PC?
Several years ago I was the science teacher of an alternative high
school. We had Apple II's in our lab and suddenly we bought 22 Mac
LCII's. The kids had to write a 10 page research paper as part of their
graduation requirements. Many of them were half way through with the II's
but wanted the advantages of Mac's. My other hat besides being a science
teacher was computer teacher. We had one Apple II GS with both a 5.25 and
a 3.5 inch disk. So we translated the 5.25 to 3.5 in standard Apple Dos
format. Then we opened them with ClarisWorks v1.0 and saved them in
Claris. This was the school's properly site licensed WP, so the kids were
in business.
