This may sound blasphemous among AW-diehards, though I've never seen
the appeal in using the word-processor module in AppleWorks either. Odd
as it may seem, I've found the editor in ProTERM 3.1 more flexible and
simple to use. Obviously it cannot be used as a full-fledged processor,
being limited to 45K and lacking such features as a spell-checker, among
countless others. Yet I still find it the most comfortable of 8-bit text
editors (perhaps because it follows the Apple GUI interface so closely?).
I often wish InTrec would expand upon ProTERM's built-in editor, or turn
it into a separate word-processing application. :) This is all personal
preference though, I have nothing against AppleWorks.
