Fine. This is better asked over in comp.sys.apple2, so this
discussion has been redirected there. Comp.sys.apple2.programmer is about
programming the Apple II series of computers; your post is a general
question suited for comp.sys.apple2.
>1) How many Megs of memory does it require?
Requires 1.25 on a ROM 01 at a minimum. 1.5 is a little better,
2MB Ram, things are much happier. Bite the bullet and get a 4MB ram
card-- everything will be nicer.
>2) Will it run off of a ROM1 Apple IIgs?
Of course. It's only the ROM 0 machines that nothing really runs
on. [Of course if you use it as a glorified //e, stuff'll run on it.
But, we're talking GS/OS]
>3) How much space will it take up on my HDD?
Minimal install: about 800K, but that doesn't include the Finder.
Including that, about a meg. More drivers, FSTs, etc obviously eat
more.
