It does take some getting used to, as you need to lift and 
move your finger to reach the entire screen, unlike the 
trackball, where you can just snap across the ball and it 
flies all the way over and then you can move to the icon 
of your choice from there. 

The biggest problem with stationary positioning devices is 
that you have to keep the area between the desk surface and 
the device very clean, otherwise it will slide and ruin your 
positioning, not to mention you'll toss the thing off the desk.
