I use that regulary when I don't need all my memory for applications.  I've 
done some careful study to determine a minimum "working" system.  I've found 
one can make a practical working system, without NDA's, and very limited 
fonts, and one print driver on an 800k floppy disk, which can be copied to 
an 800k RAMdisk.  I have created a full "working system" with a reasonable 
number of fonts and NDAs that can be copied to a 1.4 meg RAMdisk.
 
Each user should consider personal needs, and decide on a system RAMdisk 
that best meets a practical need.
 
This is using system 6.0.1.  If you use system 5.0.4, you could get by with 
about 100k less with equivalant setup.
