Just a suggestion, but now that you have a higher end computer, Bernie
2 the Rescue emulates an Apple IIGS nicely.

I use a Mac 9600 with OS 9.2.2 and Bernie 2 the Rescue emulator to run
Apple IIGS software.  If you also have a USB card and USB to CFFA
convertor then you can mount Prodos from your CFFA card in Bernie as
well.  Although, Mac OS 9 will only mount the first partition of the
card on the desktop to be used in Bernie.  My 4 GB CFFA card is
formatted into 4 x 32 MB Prodos partitions, and 2 x 1 GB HFS
partitions and only the first Prodos partition mounts on the desktop.
