   Had you bothered to accurately read the post, the big 'Q' is on the
front of the HD case, not the actual HD, where it would give the full
manufacturer and model number. Further, had you known anything about
Apple II history in the past 2-5 years, you would have recognized that
Quality Computers (later became Scantron Quality Computers) made hard
drives. Their logo was a large 'Q'.

   I owned one of these Quality HDs, a 40MB model from 1991 to
1993. It died while I was off on summer vacation, so I opened up the
case-- it had a Conner mechanism inside. It was replaced by a Quantum
235MB HD which has performed quite well without any problems since
then.

   As I've said before to you and others on this newsgroup, PLEASE
make sure that what you're saying bears at least the slightest
resemblance to the truth. When in doubt, verify your facts, or wait
for others with more of a clue to say something.
