   1) Anyone with their eyes in a location not their posterior would
note that Dr. Tom and I rarely agree on anything other than a
newsgroup to hammer at the other. Derek and I do agree on quite a
number of things, including the fact that you're a chicken to not have
the guts to put your real name on your posts.

   2) I have a real GS. I'm not giving it up. I have had NOTHING to do
with any emulator for a 6502/65816/Z80/random 8-bit processor based
machine. Neither has Derek, to my knowledge. And Dr. Tom has only sector
edited stuff and some minor tweaks to Basic programs, nothing for Unix.

   3) I know some folks doing emulators of the GS. Some for Mac, some
for Unix/X, probably some for the PC. Most are not complete. When they
are usable, they might be released. I have further never used any of
these-- I have trusted friends who have tested them.

Same answer for both: they're not finished. You've never done
anything but pirate (i.e. STEAL) programs written by others, so you
have no clue as to the amount of work and time needed to produce
something. Software takes time to create-- it just doesn't magically
appear on a ftp site one day for you to steal.

Further, a large chunk of the Apple II community does not have unix
boxes at home to use these emulators. ProTERM's vt100 does not do 3200
color pictures very well at all. If people had a unix box at home to
use these things on, then they've probably got the $200 needed to pick
up a used GS on the net, and use the REAL thing.

We don't want to release something that doesn't work. Something
called integrity, honor, and pride in one's creations. Further, the
WWW browser will be part of a _commercial_ (i.e. you _PAY_ for it)
product. It's not hoarding software to require that people pay you
back for your efforts. It's the jerks that want everything for free
that are the teenage wankers.

>So when ever they tell you this stuff doesn't exist, don't believe them!
>They are lying!

As you said above, this stuff exists. Problem is, you're lying about
who's got what, and if it's done or not.
