Even then, it won't support Ethernet directly unless someone releases
an Ethernet card for the IIgs.  It will support MacIP connections via
LocalTalk or dial-up (SLIP/PPP).

AppleTalk requires a special serial port (high speed synchronous) and
a protocol stack in the computer (it must also be fast enough to cope
with the connection).  The IIc doesn't support this.  An enhanced 128K
IIe does, if you add an "Apple II Workstation Card", which provides
the necessary hardware and firmware, with its own microprocessor.
