	It sounds as if this person means to suggest that you should 
remove the cards to see if they are contributing to the problem, or if 
it's your //e that's bad.  Two side notes:  First, I remember an Apple II 
toggling the speaker if it was having electical problems, not flashing 
the power light (Chris begins to remember why this ][ motherboard doesn't 
work...).  Also, I've heard that engineers at Apple (used to) remove and 
reinsert cards into Apple IIs while they are (were) on provided the 
entire card was inserted at once (i.e. line it up over the slot and 
*whack*).  Of course, if THEY fried something, it was probably easier to 
get a replacement.
