Thanks for the help. I didn't mean to say that it was the UDC that
controlled the Superdrive in my original post. I did mean the Superdrive
controller. I've decided, reluctantly, to go ahead with the BlueDisk
approach. I don't think the PCT will see the Floptical, as all it sees in
the way of SCSI are ProDOS hard disk partitions.
