If any of you are concerned as I am about Charles (Dr Tom) Turley's
distribution of copyrighted software, I'd like to suggest that you not
just sit idly by as he proudly gives away copyrighted software.
If you are concerned, please express your concerns, via e-mail, to:
postmaster@wco.com (Turley's ISP)
piracy@spa.org (The Software Publisher's Association)
apple2pd@icaen.uiowa.edu (The ground/grind system administrator)
Speaking as a person who owns an Apple II related company, I'm concerned
because I spent a lot of money to purchase lots of software (much of which
has gone unsold) that Turley is making available for free on the net.
So, let me put it this way...why on earth should I take my hard earned
money and sink it into Apple II software that, like a fool, I thought I
was rescuing from the junk heap...only to find out later that it's going
unsold because that same software is available from Turley's web site?
And, to think...I thought I was being an Apple II hero by buying up that
software and selling it for all of $6.
Do you think I'm going to invest more money in software if I know that
some bozo is making it available on the net for free? Fat chance!
Do you want to support someone who is making an honest effort to do good
deeds for the Apple II community, or do you want to support a software
pirate? The choice is yours.
Write those e-mails today, and let's get this sleeze bag thief off the net
and into jail where he belongs.
