Turley - You keep telling me that you've changed your ways, and then you
proudly announce on comp.sys.apple2 that you are distributing pirated
software from your web site and from grind/ground.

IMHO, that is not to be trusted by me, under any circumstances.
Your public utterings and post that I am distributing pirated software 
from my web site and from ground, is absurd!  The disk you refer to, was 
obtained by me from Al Switzer, after you gave it to him, some 5 years 
ago, in one of your mutual massage software trade sessions!

I carefully researched the disk and its contents with all legal methods 
at my disposal.  I found that the disk contents were all in public 
domain.  All the disk contents have been in the public domain for over 2 
years now!

So, that's that!  It's up to you to legally prove otherwise.  If you 
don't present such proof, to the public to back up your statement to the 
public that I distributed pirated software on the GS WorldView EZine and 
on ground Apple2 ftp site, then the matters and statements you posted 
above to the public about me, will have to be settled in a civil court 
action, which, (make no mistake about it Mr. Kohn) I will promptly 
institute.

Additionally you had no logical right to make such statements about me, 
my web site or Ground, without first having had conclusive legal ground 
and ample evidence to prove it!   You won't be able to present such, 
because it doesn't exist.  You really over-reacted on this on Mr. Kohn 
and put your own foot right down your own throat!  Showing yourself to 
the entire Apple II community - for exactly what you really are.

Is your business with your Shareware Solutions II - so poor now that 
you'll make such wreckless and liable statements in public posts, just 
to start up a little public exposure, sympathy and a business relation 
hook - for some more public domain sales via your SSII service?   

I think you know, (I certainly know) and just about everybody else with 
any common sense that reads all of this knows - that you have been 
waiting a long time now to 'find some more dirt on Turley', gain some 
more brownie points in the A2 community and crush my efforts to present 
useful FREE materials to the same A2 community!   

IMHO - you really made a 'HOURSES ASS' out of yourself in public this 
time!   You know, Joe - everybody should also note, when I first read 
your comments of this post you did, I gave you a prompt voice call at 
your home number -> (415) 459-0231  <- to politely discuss same with 
you.  But, what did you do -> you simply said (and I quote) "You've 
really fxxkcd up good this time Turley, I've got you now".  Then you 
hung up on me before I could even reply to you cute little comment!

within 24 hours from me!  You want to make demands, then do it in court 
of do it to the SPA (Software Piracy Agency), not by public post to 
CSA2.  For your information, you ARE NOT the KING of the Apple II 
community.  It has no KING!  It is a community, that you have no rights 
to demand to or act as if you were actually running its every effort and 
act. The Apple 2 community (of which I happen to belong) can think and 
act with its own individual efforts and needs without having to go thru 
your services of Shareware Solutions II.

Just as you tried to have my web site shut down before,  because I 
placed a screen capture of a gay web site (that resides on the same 
Internet Server provider that you use), on my web site a few months 
back, you are trying to make the same stupid and childish effort again 
with this post, comments and slander to the public, to try an win more 
sales, respect and credibility - with your efforts to provide wonderful 
services to the A2 community and users. (AND PLEASE TAKE NOTE - MY WEB 
SERVER PROVIDER - WCO.COM, THE OWNER - NO LESS, HAS BEEN MADE CLEARLY 
AWARE OF YOUR POSSIBLE FUTURE EFFORTS TO HAVE MY WEB SITE SHUT DOWN, AND 
WILL NOT ACT, ON ANY SUCH DEMAND OR REQUEST, WITHOUT DUE LEGAL PROOF, 
PRESENTED WITH A CIVIL LEGAL ACTION, TO WARRENT SUCH ACTION)  

SO, YOU CAN MAKE YOUR DEMANDS BEFORE A JUDGE AND SUE ME AND MY WEB 
SERVER, IN A CIVIL ACTION.   

But, please have enough comment logic, not to make such demands in 
public post, just to try and get a little more exposure, publicity and a 
few more sales for SSII, via your efforts to sell public domain software 
in their original shrink wrap packages - when people can get the same 
thing in a more usable and broader collective for FREE, as public domain 
software!

drive, which I helped pay for and which is owned by the Apple II 
community, not be involved in the distribution of Dr Tom's pirated 
software.

best for the stability of the service of Ground.  I'll simply state for 
the record and to the public, that (to the best of my knowledge) from 
all legal facts I've had researched and reported back to me - all 
contents on the disk, archived as: Pacmania.BXY is no longer copyrighted 
and are all public domain.

I just downloaded "Pacmania" from the ground site, and the archive 
includes pirated versions of copyrighted software.

pirate you've always been.

I've reported you to the police several times in the past year for
harassing me and threatening me, but you've just upped the ante. And
personally, I'm glad. I've been wanting to nail you for years, and 
you've just given me the golden opportunity.

For those of you reading this who do want a legitimate copy of Pac Man 
and/or Ms Pac Man, those are still available from Shareware Solutions 
II, in their original shrink wrapped packaging for only $6 each, plus $3

Everybody please read all of my comments concerning all of the above as 
noted above the symbols (****) in this manner everybody wilkl have it 
all clearly posted for the entire Apple II community to read, evaluate 
and make their own individual decisions based on the FACTS, rather than 
unfounded and illogical inaccurate comments.

In essence, all I did wrong with the original post, was that I stated 
the Pacmania.BXY file was still available from within the A2.GS.GRAB.BAG
folder, when, at the time of the post it wasn't there.  MAKE CAREFUL 
NOTE ALSO, I've now uploaded it there again for all to have FREELY and 
LEGALLY!   Oh, yes I also forgot to include the : symbol in the original 
post URL.

So, the correct URL should be, as noted below.
