RE:Re: Apple II just won't die.

Just to add my $0.02: My own use of my Apple IIgs is 90% of the "old" 8-bit
software - mostly AppleWorks and telecommunications. I also have Macs which
I use if I need "fancy fonts" (rarely). AppleWorks I call "quick and
dirty." It's fast, easy, and gives me plain text. I print directly from
AppleWorks to my AppleTalk Personal LaserWriter 320. I have two Macs
networked to my Apple IIgs -- and use those Macs as file servers where I
store and retrieve Apple II files, or back up Apple II files on the Mac hard
drives. I also have three hard drives on my IIgs.

Apple II forever-and-a-day.
