A. If your using the ZIP drive on a PC, and its the parallel port
version,
then as far as I know, you can't connect it to any Apple II.

B. You can't connect even the SCSI version to either a IIc or a IIc+.
There
is no SCSI port on thses machines, and no slots for adding a card.

You can use your PC's modem to download Apple II Software to your hard
disk,
and then send it to the IIc+ over a serial cable with a null modem cable.

The disk drives are incompatible.

Chances are that unless you have a newer disk drive on the IIe, you would
need an adapter. Drives that have black fronts and say "DISK ][" need
a 20 to 19 pin adapter. (alltech sells them) As far as I know, all newer
19 pin drives can connect to the disk port on the IIc+.

Your best bet is with the IIgs's drives. I don't know anyone who uses
the DISK ][ with the IIgs (but it is possible). If the IIgs's drives
are beige or grey and say "Apple 5.25 Drive" or "UniDisk" on the bottom,
they should work.

Remember that 3.5" drives get attached first, and that 5.25" drives are
connected to 3.5" drives.

I can't be 100% sure o this information, as I haven't used a IIc+.
Anyone else, please correct me if I am wrong.
