Usually the "unable to load prodos" on a known good disk means the drive is
at fault and probably (but not always) a dirty head.  Try a drive cleaner
in the unit and try again.  It may take more than one pass of the cleaner
if the head is really dirty.  There is also a defective chip in some of the
IIc's but I don't know what versions of the IIc that have them.
