I think the best (hassle-free, user friendly, plug & play) HD for the 
IIGS, especially for any new owners that don't understand all the 
config. for SCSI, etc. would be to simply purchase the new FOCUS IDE HD

It's a simply plug and boot internal card, which you can place in slot 7
