AppleWorks on IIe card in Performa

A friend runs AppleWorks (probably a semi-ancient version) on both a IIe
and a Performa with a IIe card. He says everything behaves exactly the
same, except that trying to print justified print from the Performa to an
ImageWriter doesn't  work right. Apparently it prints, but is not properly
justified. Does anyone have any experience with a IIe card and AW?

He also has a very old accountly package, BPI Accounting, which runs OK
from floppy and runs OK after being copied to a RamFactor card, but will
not run after installation on his hard drive. He says the manual says it's
hard drive installable. Anyone with any experience with this package?
