It may be correct.  My ISP was running Lynx version 2.2 for a long
time after version "2.3 BETA" was available.  Version 2.2 didn't
support the ".mime.types" file, which can be set up to tell
Lynx to use binary transfers for ShrinkIt and Binary II files.  Version
"2.3 BETA" does support this file.

Lynx looks for this file in your home directory (on a UNIX host).  It
should contain the following two lines:

application/x-Shrinkit shk SHK Shk sdk SDK Sdk
application/x-BinaryII bny BNY Bny bqy BQY Bqy bxy BXY Bxy


If you have a shell account, you can find out which version of Lynx is
being used by using the command:

lynx -version

If you only have menu-driven access to Lynx, you will have to ask your
ISP what version of Lynx is being used.  If it is only 2.2, ask them
to get hold of a newer version.
