There is a card called Second Sight made by Seqential Systems That allows 
you to conect a SVGA montior to your Aplle II computers. Of course it 
works better on the GS. With this card you can display gifs and jpegs in 
a lot better resolution. It doesn't work to well with the Apple high res. 
and super high res. on a svga monitor though. You can also use this card 
to increase the resolution of your Apple RGB monitor but I have not tried 
it yet.
