Did anyone read about the new power pc platform that grew out of the old
ibm PreP platform? It seems to be a more sure thing. The platform will
, or M#c/OS with the Mac Roms installed.
I'm not a hardware Guru, but does that mean we could burn a set of ROMs
that would let us run GS/OS?
Eventually Apple says that they will change the OS so that the roms won't
be needed. (Putting the tools in software i guess).
Could this platform give new life to Apple II's? I've only programmed
mainframes and UNIX ANSI C, but I would be willing to help out.
