Try typing Ctrl-Z 0.  (that's Control-Z, then 0).  it worked for me on my
ace 1000+ with the franklin 80 col card (which seemed magically compatible
with a videx, i believe...)

note that you need to do that BEFORE you type pr#0, otherwise the ^Z0 won't
get to the card, and won't do anything for you.
