So I thought I had a hi-speed SCSI card but in fact it's a plain old
Apple SCSI card, not hi-speed. It's a second-hand system and I just
assumed.
I'm guessing the drive and card aren't very compatible? It seems to
like HFS format discs but locks up or ignores other discs (the high
sierra FST is installed.)
The card has been modified to supply the termination voltage (I can
see the diode was soldered later), the card's ID is 7 and the drive's
ID is 1. I also have a 15mhz transwarp and microdrive CF hard disk
installed.
Thanks for the driver, though I can't use it with this card.
Now I'm not sure whether to look out for a ramfast SCSI card or wait
for reactive micro's new IDEA controller.
Thanks,
Anthony
