Uh oh...and other stuff.

Ok, don't you hate when this happens:
You make a ram disk on your GS one day, because you figure that it's your
duty as an Apple II owner. However, you remember, the next day, that you
never like ram disks anyway. So you try to go into the GSOS control panel
and all of a sudden you hear "beep, beep, beep" and you have a brkcursor
on the screen. You go to the text based Control Panel and get rid of the
Ram disk, restart the computer. Upon reaching the desktop, the ramdisk
is still there. That annoys you a little, but you can live with it. You
then go to the Quick launch menu to open Shrink-it GS and you get
brkcursor again. You shift-boot, and are able to load up the program
easily. You then try to read a text file and remmeber that shadowrite
isn't working. You reboot, read the tex file, then try to open control
panels again to shut off ram disk(because it's really starting to tick you
off), but you get a brkcursor again. The question is: what is happening
to you?

One more concern: is there anyway to print pointless fonts without having
them seem entirely garish (i.e. way too bold!). The only way I can get
anything to look nice on my IWII is to use AW 5.0 with the standard font
in NLQ mode. Also, how do you use fonts with AW 5.0? (All it's ever done
is print the name of the font I want the file to be in!)

While we're on the subject of AW 5, would anyone happen to know why my
copy crashes if I am away from it too long, and what I can do to prevent
that?

These questions have really been puzzling me!
