Whenever you insert a disk which alerts you to bad partitions, just init
ialize and proceed. They seem to be 6K apeice, and must not be needed
because the Zip disks still work on a Mac with the Zip drivers installed.
I use a Rom3 GS, Apple HS scsi, Zip8/64k, etc. and no longer have any
problems using Zip disks. (Well, partitions do disappear occasionally
switching between GSOS and p8, but reinserting the Zip disk always
brings them back). I've also put a apple Rev C scsi card in my
Rom1 IIegs (IIe to GS retrofit) and the Zip drive works with it too
(although the system pauses at times until a disk is (re) inserted.)

A FAQ would be very helpful.
