You can get the battery from Radio Shack as well - it is a special order
battery, generally takes about a week to 10 days to get. It is listed in
their cross reference as a Apple Macintosh IIGS battery (grin) - the
number, if I remember correctly, is CCB-5111/P (the "/P" is for the "pin"
version, there are two versions of this battery) or something very close
to that. It runs around $10.
Easiest way to replace the battery is to clip the old one out leaving the
pins in place, then solder the pins of the new battery directly to the old
pins - that way, you don't have to mess with soldering/desoldering a
4-layer board (which takes a little skill to get right).
