You could try this =at least= two different ways:

(1) Copy the files to an 800K (3.5") ProDOS formatted disk.  Next,
    insert the disk into the Mac and use a program like Apple File
    Exchange (or its equivalent -- forgive me I don't have access
    to Macs) to access them.

(2) If you have the latest system software on your IIgs (System 6.0.1)
    you can use the HFS FST (File System Translator) to format and
    copy the files to an 800K (3.5") disk.  In case you didn't know,
    HFS is the file system that the Mac uses to manage files on a disk
    drive.  I would suggest using a program like the IIgs Finder to
    format and copy the files.  When you initiate the format, you
    should be able to specify HFS as the format type.  If you are
    running System 6.0.1 and you don't see such an option available,
    you probably don't have the HFS FST installed or activated.
