ProDos Text->Mac?

I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I've never asked it
before.  <G>  Someone has some genealogy text files in ProDos and wants
me to use my IIGS  to read them and possibly convert them to be readable
by ClarisWorks or MSWord for Mac.  I have a Performa 6115 and the IIGS,
but I've never done anything like this.  I know.....major newbie question.
I've just never needed to know how to do this before.

Any assistance would be welcome, but I'd appreciate it if any replies were
sent to my email address.  I only came to this group to ask my question.  I'd
love to do more with my IIGS-it's still right here next to my Mac- but I have 
no time at the present.
