s an apple IIgs user I think that its very important to keep watch of
whats going on at Apple right now. Even if your extremely cynical and
jaded about what mean old apple inc did to us poor little II users you
should be worried about Apple going belly up. If they go away so do the
companies that make keyboards, drives and modem cables that will work with
our II's!
If you're not as cynical as you sound then you might go back and re-read
the message I was responding to in the first place. It was pretty much a post
that said

Yes I would like a world where Apple II's were still being built and supported.
But if my choice is between a microsoft only world, and one with at
least one other operating system. Well, I guess the answer is obvious. As
long as Macs have built in appletalk, they'll be usefull to all Apple II
owners.
Have you evr stuck a prodos disk in a Microsloth machine?
