One thing I'll never understand is that with PowerMac's significant
speed advantage, why doesn't Apple say so on TV?
I see this boasted in some magazines, and print ads. But people buying
their first computers often ask 4 questions:
1) Does it run Windows?
2) How Much ram does it have?
3) How fast is it?
4) How much does it cost?
Apple should just answer:
1) It doesn't need to.
2) 8 meg (or whatever).
3) 40-50% faster than a pentium.
4) the same or less than a pentium.
Make a strong point, and make it simply.
