ProDOS-8 2.0.3 (possibly 2.0.2) is available as part of the 8-bit
Apple II System Software, in the directory:

ftp://ftp.apple.com/dts/aii/sys.soft/8bit.system.4.0.2

(bric-a-brac.apple.com is aliased as ftp.apple.com)

The actual system software is a ShrinkIt disk archive encoded with
BinSCII. The filename is "sysdisk402.bsc". There are also some
release notes there.

The main improvement over 1.9 is that SmartPort devices may be
remapped into unused slots, allowing more than two volumes per slot to
be accessed (to a maximum of 14 volumes).

Earlier versions had a limited version of this which only worked with
a card in slot 5 (which had to support this feature) and only
supported an additional two devices, remapping them to slot 2
(provided it didn't contain a disk controller).

There is one significant restriction with P8 2.x: it requires a 65C02
processor or better (enhanced IIe, or a IIc or IIgs).

There are also a lot of bug fixes.
