        Thanks David for the reply...  I think I got it figured - yes I
used the method you described, or a variation on it...

   My slots are:
                1 - SSC
                3 - zipgs
                4 - mouse
                6 - focus
                7 - Ramfast
                      
        Not counting 2,5 since they are modem and smartport

       I just boot up and when I need the higher vols of the Focus I just
disable the RF..   I thought something was wrong until I remembered ram and
smartport took away from the avail drives...   Its working pretty good
though, just wish I could use the focus.driver to speed access time in
prodos...    Thanks!
