Back in the dark ages I used to work as a repair tech for Apple and I
must have worked on 4 zillion of //e's and (with out seeing it in person),
it sounds like your power supply is on its way to that big motherboard in
the sky. You could probably pick up a new/referbished one from an company
called Applied Engeneering for not too much. I'm truly not sure if they
are still in business any more, but it's my best shot. I'll scrounge
around in my stuff and see if I can come up with an address. If I find it,
I'll post it.
