Yes, there is a LTOI II which has about 12 additional Infocom
games, but it is only available in IBM and Mac formats.  However,
that does not entirely rule out the ability to play those games on
the GS.  A back issue of GS+ contains some very useful info on how
to convert the IBM version of LTOI II to a GS compatible version.
It's actually quite simple and only requires the ability of your GS
to read MS-DOS disks (1.44M).

Yeah, that's annoying, I agree.  One of these days I'll get around
to making some, too.
