Since your alternative is to scrap the keyboard, you may consider a
fairly drastic fix attempt:
Remove the KB. Remove all keys. Remove any plastic moulding, etc..
Note position of any removable IC's, plugs, etc. and remove them. Dunk the
whole thing in a tray of alcohol and slosh around while diddling the keys.
If the dunk & slosh seems to free-up the stuck keys, fine. Drain off
the alcohol, shake, blot-dry, and let sit for a couple days to give any
water a chance to evaporate.
If the alky dunk does not seem to help. Prepare a tray of hot water,
add liquid detergent, and slosh while diddling the keys. When they're
okay, drain off the water, shake, and transfer to plain water. Slosh and
drain/shake, then transfer to the alcohol. Slosh around, drain, shake, and
dry.
The above assumes that the core problem is gunk. Possibly Apple used
some kind of silicone lubricant on the switches and this has hardened.
Possibly, dust and grease just tend to collect in bad places on this kind
of keyboard. If gunk is the cause, then de-gunking may be a cure.
Good luck!
